Blanche is an aetheorlogist, she is always happy to babble away about it and eager to learn more from fellow aetherologists.
As a Silverclaire, Blanche has learned much about trade, though it is not a primary interest, she is happy to provide insight or help to any fellow tradesmen.
While it is a dangerous thing to discuss as it could get her raving for hours, books will always get her started on a conversation, and she is happy to discuss and share readings.
Blanche is a noblewoman, and fancies herself just a little bit of a snob. She loves fashion and would absolutely have discussions on the finer things in life.
While only a recent trade she's picked up, Blanche does like going on adventures, and being that she understands many kinds of aether and their usages, she can be useful to any expeditions or exploratory missions.
Blanche has an overabundance of aether, and would reflect as such when someone looks at her through an aetherglass. Perhaps a fellow aetherologist would be interested in investigating..?
At night, this silver-tongued Silverclaire has picked up bartending at several night clubs as an effort to improve her socializing capabilities, and also let off some steam.

Background
Hailing from Ishgard proper, Blanche Silverclaire is the adopted child of the Silverclaire household, a well-established lesser noble house, specializing in trade. Knowing naught but her Ishgardian heritage, Blanche grew up as a rambunctious urchin, ready to devour every bit of knowledge she came across to prove that she is worthy of her title as a noblewoman as plenty of her fellow noblemen shunned her.
Consumed by loneliness due to ostracization, Blanche turned to books and the studies of aether, learning magic by spending years of her youth in her family's basement; isolated and determined to find her worth through becoming a fantastic magicker, worthy of joining the Holy See. Eventually as she came of age for it, she was sent to Saint Endalim's Scholasticate, where she spent two years studying to become an aetherologist, excelling plenty in the topic whilst not forgetting her faith.
Before she could finish her studies, the Dragonsong War rose to its crescendo and Blanche joined the efforts as barely a young adult, despite the dangers and her reckless nature. When Ishgard finally detached itself from the Holy See, and the Dragonsong War finally ended, Blanche left Ishgard to seek adventure and a place in the world, as it's been proven time and time again that it is not in Ishgard.
